    Description

    Vintage Microscope Box
    Vintage microscope box (without microscope) made by Educational Materials and Equipment Company of Bronxville, NY.  Finger jointed wood with 2 interior slide out trays (one for test tubes, one for slides most likely).  Door swings open and latches closed.  Handle on top, rubber feet on bottom.  Label inside door (see photo).  The box measures (interior) 10" tall x 4 1/2" wide x 5 3/8" deep.
    Overall the box is in very good condition with some marks from expected wear.  The back panel shows some splitting (see photos).  The wood is nicked where the latch's screw is (see photo).
