RARE Vintage Germany Electric 20” Replica Model Working Carousel

RARE Estate Item! This is a working electric replica model of the carousels you find in Munich during Octoberfest!  It is a hanging, chain carousel such as you find in Germany, where the riders swing outward.
I could find only TWO that have sold at auctions in the last 10 years. One in Germany that sold for 03 in 2013, and one in France that sold for a price near 00! Both of these only had the bucket seats.
This one for auction not only has the 16 seats, it also includes the interchangeable, highly detailed carousel horses!  You can change from one to the other or mix them up.  The carousel measures 18” in diameter and 20” tall to the top of the clown.  Most of the carousel is plastic, but it sits on a wood base.
So, let’s get to the details…. And please view all the photos carefully.
1. Stamped Made in the Federation Republic of Germany, which was formed in 1949.
2. When obtained from the estate, most of the lights (except the clown which is a bit loose) were working- there are a few that are burned out. They don’t turn on now. Perhaps a wire came loose on the way home.
3. Everything is original, which means the wiring may need cleaning or updating.
4. It works, but you do have to give it a little push at first and occasionally it squeaks while spinning.  Again, I’m sure the mechanism needs cleaning. I have posted a link to my YouTube video below so you can see it working.
5. 8 pairs of VERY detailed, accurate horses and 16 interchangeable seats.
6. Original motor by Joseph Muller W.E.M. in Germany.
7. One plastic step is missing. Three lights are missing the plastic surround. One plug (audio?) is missing one metal prong. I have no idea what that plug is for, but I’m assuming it hooked up to an audio system for music. 🤷🏼‍♀️
8. VERY detailed, authentic carousel.  It has the Kassa (cashier), the sign that it’s for Children (10 marks) and Adults (20 marks).  PLUS, it has the AUTHENTIC organ by Wilhelm Bruder Sohns of Walderkirch 1B, exactly what you would have found on an old, vintage full sized carousel.
