    Description

Unique Additive Package:  Rust Inhibited, Tackifier, PTFE Fortified and EP Fortified
Rheolube 368AXF is a versatile medium viscosity, lithium soap thickened synthetic hydrocarbon grease.  Being PTFE and EP Fortified, it exhibits excellent friction-reduction and load-carrying capabilities in a wide range of sliding applications including operating mechanisms in switchgears, bearings, gear and gear-train applications. Its custom additive package offers long-term protection from environmental exposure, corrosion, wear and rust.  Because of its tackifier modifier, Rheolube 368AXF offers improved adherence capabilities so the grease stays in place.
Built on the 368 Base Grease with a Long History of Performing Well
The 368 base grease is used by customers demanding low-oil separation in a wide variety of switch applications.  The base grease works well on switch blades, power fuses, switch mechanisms and switch contacts in metal enclosed indoor and outdoor switchgear designs. It’s often used in a wide variety of switch designs to reduce the need for maintenance and extending re-lubrication cycles.
    Microscope Applications
According to microscope technicians who have used Rheolube 368AXF, it performs well on moving parts of a microscope including dovetails, pinions, nose bearings, stages and course-focus mechanisms.  Lastly, Rheolube 368AXF complements 362HB which is lighter and is often used on fine-focus shafts and mechanisms with small loads to create a silk-like feel.
