LEITZ WETZLAR OPTICAL DIVIDING HEAD from Space Vehicle Lab, Lockheed-Martin

Description

I have for sale a Leitz optical dividing head. I got this out of Lockheed-Martin Space Lab located in King of Prussia PA. They phased out the Space vehicle department in the late 1980's. This head is fully inspected, and has the inventory labels still on the unit. I kept it in my shop, which is a heat stable environment, and kept it covered with my other precision equipment. I recently rewired the internal lights to take a newer light bulb, and has a transformer to power the optics. This is about as nice an example of this as you will find anywhere. This has some provenance. Talking with the guys at the warehouse, they told me they worked on the Gemini, and Apollo series space vehicles, and made up many of the parts, as well as doing satellite framework at their facility. This thing is heavy, close to 200 lbs. It would have to be freighted, or picked up. I can put it on a small pallet for and can load if you schedule the pick-up.
This is an "AS-IS, where is" item.  Please keep this in mind when bidding. Look at all pictures closely, the pictures show the condition of the item in your opinion.  We explain all merchandise to the best of our abilities, and we are more than willing to attempt to answer any questions you may have.

Terms of sale
Bold Precision Inc. accepts PayPal Payments. We also accept checks, wire transfers, cash, and payment on pick up are all acceptable forms of payment.

Payment in full must be received within 3 days of close of auction, or the purchased item will be relisted
6% Pennsylvania sales tax applies to Pennsylvania residents on all items picked up in Pennsylvania at our location. If you are a dealer, and have a valid Resale number, you can fill out a tax exemption form which will excuse you from paying the sales tax.  Payment in full is due within 3 days from auction end.
All items purchased from us can remain at our location for 30 days following the close of the auction without incurring any additional charges. However, if an item remains at our location for more than 30 days, the item can be resold to recover storage costs and the original purchaser will not receive any of the proceeds. Nonpayment will result in negative feedback.
Shipping
We DO NOT offer free shipping.  The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and for making all shipping arrangements, but we can help with the arrangements if asked to do so. You may reach us at 610-933-(BOLD) We sometime sell used items and we will from time to time miss something that is wrong. If you purchase an item, and you have it delivered to your location regardless of whether you have inspected it or not, you are responsible for the shipping charge if it is to be returned.

Freight charges, delivery fees, etc. are never refundable for an item, because the item is used, and it is being sold "as is where is". You always have the option of coming to our location to check out the item in person before paying to have it delivered.  All items can be picked up at our location by the purchaser, or an authorized representative.
