This Auction is for 1 Live Alocasia Black Velvet, as pictured, that has been indoor grown by us in a 4" pot with peat mix and fed a myriad of high end fertilizer and nutrients both of organic and synthetic origin.

We offer discount shipping on multiple items!  I take great care in packaging but slight imperfections may be expected from the stress of shipping.  If you receive your package  with notable damage, please photograph (the package and items)  within 24 hours of delivery for your OWN record and FILE A CLAIM WITH The United States Postal Service--all orders come insured up to .  The insurance claim process is handled online and must be filed within 30 days of receiving your damaged package and plants.  I am able to assist with the process, but CAN NOT process the file on your behalf.  USPS may require the original packaging material, damaged plant(s), and box must be kept and will most likely ask you to return the contents for proof of damage. We are no longer liable once your package is in possession of USPS. We are not liable for lost, stolen, shipping delays, or extreme mishandling of the package during transit.   You are purchasing this plant with the acceptance of our shop policies.  Additional insurance can be purchased for orders valued greater than .  Just ask me and I can accommodate. All orders will receive a tracking number and as the buyer, you are expected to track your order responsibly. Upon receiving the plants, immediate care will be very beneficial.  Generally, tropical plants (especially indoor grown), do not like direct full sun exposure and can easily burn the foliage.  A vitamin supplement such as Superthrive, is excellent applied as a foliar/spray bottle.   This aids in shipping shock and transplanting.  Plants can typically be repotted after a few days of acclimating to it's new environment.

You are purchasing this plant in which the shipping packaging will indicate the necessary info (properly stating the identity of the contents) your state's Food and Agricultural department is mandating. Our general nursery stock inspection certificate, along with a nematode certification will also be posted.  Our nursery is free from burrowing, reniform, guava root-knot nematodes, Diaprepes root weevil, Tropical Spiderwort,  Mississippi apple snail. We meet the TYPE III nematode certification requirements for all states. In  the event the agricultural department requests to inspect incoming plant material, I am not responsible for any incurred damages/losses/confiscations. We ship to the 48 continental states.  Each state has it's own strict guidelines for incoming plants and it is the buyer's responsibility to be aware of their state regulations.  Arizona requires a phytosanitary certificate to be purchased for .
